I understand why cities as a whole have a huge pitfall in the music industry. The so called "move around of people" lack professionalism and business 101! It's not just janky ass promoters, it's janky ass people period. I tell folks all the time, don't come to me until you are ready. There are levels to this... Education in every part of this business is essential. A mind is a terrible thing to waste along with money and time. I don't make promises, but I do guarantee. You get what you pay for. First and foremost, check the numbers, when they don't add up...RUN! Otherwise, I have some ocean front property to sell ya in the middle of Kansas. I would be lying if I told you there are no snakes in this business or an immediate ROI. But I do guarantee I will personally work a project that I feel has the potential to go. You will see me personally deliver. Patience is a virtue, pay attention to everything. So let me clarify... it's don't come to us until you are ready AND have your budget clear, cause ain't shit free!! #LeslieMac

Juicy J ain't welcomed round here!
"WTF"
by Yung2 ft. Joker B seems to be more than inspiration for Juicy J. According to a video uploaded yesterday by @LilRockObama http://bit.ly/bwareJuicyJ, the 2 Arkansas artist tell Juicy J to pay them for jacking the song. There will be no shows for the Memphis Tennessee rapper until he handles the "music biz"! The hook that Joker B spits definitely connects the two tracks, there's even a YouTube video that puts Yung2s "WTF" with Juicy Js version and calls it a remix. We all know music takes a path from the studio to the world, and that might take months or even years, but clearly we see @Yung2TSE & @JokerBeezy version hits the World Wide Web first. There's another "WTF" out there by @LonnieDaDon that's not related to the other version and has its own identity (produced by @ZaytovenBeatz). We Salute originality and All we can say is "Arkansas STAND UP!"

Lets Talk Dj Coalitions By Dj Iceman
If you know me,you know im a part of about 100 dj coalitions. lets break down what a dj coalition is and the pros and cons of being in one.
First off a dj coalition is a group of like-minded djs all striving for the same goal. and with so many coalitions out there how do you know which one is for you? its ultimately up to you to decide that. being in a coalition is like being in an extended family of djs. its a great networking opportunity. a lot of coalitions have exclusive access to artists and new music. some have plugs in radio,internet radio,and publishing. some have venue connections and others can help you get your mixtape out with plugs with certain sites.some coalitions even have help with mixtapes. everything from graphic design,to their own models for mixtape covers. most coalitions have weekly or monthly conference calls. these are done mostly to take care of coalition business, or to connect with artists. you get to know about an artist’s new project.maybe get to hear it first,and to support the artist just as the artist is supporting the dj by doing the call. this is a way to network with the artists. some are even so kind as to do drops for the individual djs . more and more coalitions are also having yearly conferences. these are mainly done so the djs can connect and network face to face as many djs in the same coalition live in different states or even different countries. most of these conferences are full of dj battles/workshops,panel discussions and seminars,and artist/dj showcases. there are some coalitions that have their own radio stations or plugs/connections with radio stations that can get your mixes heard or even have you on for a daily/weekly/monthly basis.some even offer promo services. what it all boils down to is more oppertunities for djs. not that you cant do things on your own,but sometimes being a part of a coalition can make the road easier.
Now there can be problems with being in coalitions. some have exclusivity clauses. meaning if you are with them,you cant join any other groups. some has mandatory songs you have to put on your mixtapes every month. if the song doesnt fit your format or if you dont like the song,it doesnt matter. lol and dealing wth so many different djs and personalities,there may be some people you dont get along with. so if you dont play well with others being in a coalition may not be for you.
I can say i personally love my coalition experience. ive run into a lot of lifelong friends and family members and have gotten a ton of support and oppertunities. i have gotten to interact with artists i would never have had access to any other way. i gotten a ton of new music. and most of all ive had a lot of fun. so i hope ive been able to help you as to what a dj coalition is and how it can help you. if you have any questions feel free to comment below or hit me on my facebook (https://www.facebook.com/Bigicedog)
Live it, See it, and Write it because I know it
Woke up this morning with my inbox full... One in particular was time stamped at 4:47am, it was from my partner, T. As I read it, I knew he was pissed. His tone came through loud and clear. It's my duty to share his experience with you all. Mind you, I knew he went to screening of 'Straight Outta Compton' last night. I could hear T reciting the bars from Easy-E as I read... "I live it, I see it, and I write it because I know it."

Dr. Dre Plugs Into Dallas' Sounds
Dallas, Texas hails as one of the top five markets in radio, but all to often I hear, “Can’t NOBODY break into the (music) industry outta Dallas!” Sounds cliché right?!?! Well,
contrary to popular belief, Dallas has had some notable acts make quite an impact in music history. Not to long ago, Garland native, Justin Mohrle, PKA Justus made the headlines as Dr. Dre’s newest protege. Now, we can add Dallas native and producer, Da Dreak to that list.
I came across an article that I just have to share with my audience. There are times where accolades are given, however, they are not directed to the mass hip-hop audience. This is where I excel…I have the ability to reach the masses: black, white, brown, or yellow….urban, hip-hop, music industry, males or females. Being able to cross promote the “race” barriers, is an art. One I am most proud of!
Dallas Observer’s (D.O.) own Jeremy Hallock “snuck” this great news in, which I think should have been front page news on all media outlets including TMZ, The Breakfast Club, and Entertainment Tonight! Especially when “Straight Outta Compton” officially opens tomorrow!
@DaDreak (Twitter & IG) story begins A few months ago, when Da Dreak found himself in Dre’s studio, during a visit to California for his birthday. During this trip he found himself face to face with Dr. Dre inside Aftermath Studios.
Born and raised in Dallas, Dreak, started rapping in high school. The beat making didn’t start until the late 1990s. Last March, Dreak met Denaun Porter at South by Southwest. Porter is well known for his work with D12. Porter’s no stranger to working with Dr. Dre and has produced songs for 50 Cent and Snoop Dogg. He also produced songs for Eminem and tours with the Shady/Aftermath artist as his hype man.
According to the D.O., Dreak and Porter quickly started working together, meeting up in different cities to work on a beat kit and Royce Da 5’9’s next album, among other projects. In May, Dreak went to Los Angeles to celebrate his birthday and work with Porter. Porter took Dreak to Aftermath Studios, where he works as a producer for Aftermath Entertainment, Dre’s label.
When asked about his production style, Da Dreak says, “Either you were the hip-hop purist backpacker or you were the street.” From what I’ve heard of his tracks on Soundcloud, Da Dreak can touch all styles. Porter was immediately struck with Dreak’s production sound. “He has a little swing to his music,” Porter says. “He uses different chord progressions. With most people, you can tell what the next step is going to be. With him...I couldn’t tell what his next step was going to be. It’s not a traditional way of thinking.” Porter immediately wanted Dre to hear Dreak. He liked Dreak’s sound and noticed an attention to precision and detail that he thought Dre might appreciate. Porter isn’t in the habit of bringing people over to Aftermath. “But Dre’s like a brother to me and Dreak seemed really cool,” Porter says. Looking back, he was simply happy to bring new talent to Dre.
“I wasn’t expecting Dre to be there,” says Dreak. But Porter led him into the first control room and Dre was standing at the board. Da Dreak goes on to say of working with Dre, “You don’t want to say too much.” Even tho he doesn’t make it to the ‘Compton ‘ album, Dreak thinks of the possibilities, that the beats he worked on at Aftermath may be used on another project in the next couple years.”

For Your Listening Pleasure
See Your Sound, Hear Your Sound, and Listen Your Way...Vinyl has gone vertical!
Gramovox wanted to create a visceral vinyl experience that showcased the record as both art and a medium to produce sound. The result is a high-performance turntable that plays your records vertically - giving off the illusion that the record is floating.
This system comes with dynamic, full range audio. According to Gramovox, The Floating Record uses two Tymphany 2" neodymium speakers driven by a 15w per channel digital amplifier. They wanted to achieve the best possible sound without compromising aesthetics or performance.
The Floating Record can also be easily switched between 33 1/3 or 45 RPM by moving the silicon belt over the inner or outer groove of the middle gear. Record clamps for both type of records are included as well.
With built-in RCA line out ports, you can bypass the integrated speakers and use the Floating Record as a standalone Hi-Fi turntable for your own audio setup. Additionally, you can use your headphones through the built-in 3.5mm stereo jack.
Proudly built and manufactured in Chicago.

Jay-Z Hidden Track ... Vinyl Only!
The last release from Jay-Z came in the form of Magna Carta Holy Grail 2013. Well Vinyl lovers, there's a new surprise here now and it's coming with an even bigger surprise...A Jay Z hidden track.
Third Man Records have rereleased MGHG album as a part of a double vinyl set and you can hear a never before released track from the album. Hidden away in the back cover of the sleeve is a post-card flexi-disc, which features the "super secret hidden track."
According to the ThirdManStore.com website, "Once freed of its casing, this flexi disc plays a super secret hidden track. You'll just have to hear it for yourself, because we sure don't plan to ruin the mystery of it here." The double LP is selling for a reasonable price point of $20 and is currently available for purchase on The website but I'm sure the song will eventually make its way to the Internet soon enough. Since n'Rotation is all about the DJs, I'm 100% sure I'll find this wax in my DJ friends crates.

Diss Records 2015...
So I've been busy working with some of the best DJs in the world and I can't seem to move past this unnecessary beef between Meek Mills and Drake. With Drake's recent drop of 'Back To Back' (Meek Diss) that puts Meek 0-2. Memes have taken rap beef to a new level and really caused the fans to clearly choose a side. I'm not dissing Drakes Diss, but I have diss records that really make this confrontation sound minor. Check out my TOP 5 DISS TRACKS and the deadly bars.
1.) Tupac - Hit Em Up (BIGGIE & Puff Diss)
Quotable Lyrics
"First off, f*ck your b**ch and the clique you claim/ Westside when we ride, come equipped with game/ You claim to be a player, but I f**cked your wife/We bust on Bad Boys, ni**as f*ked for life"
"Who shot ya? Separate the weak from the obsolete/ Hard to creep them Brooklyn streets/ It's on ni**a, f**k all that bickering beef/ I can hear sweat trickling down your cheek"
"You said you've been in this ten, I've been in it five, smarten up Nas/ Four albums in ten years ni**a? I could divide/ That's one every two, two of them sh*ts was due/ One was 'nah', the other was Illmatic"
4.) Nas - Ether (Jay Z Diss)
Quotable Lyrics
"When these streets keep calling, heard it when I was sleep/ That this Gay-Z and C*ck-A-Fella Records wanted beef/ Started c*cking up my weapon, slowly loading up this ammo/ To explode it on a camel and his soldiers"
5.) Ice Cube - No Vaseline (N.W.A former members Diss)
Quotable Lyrics
"The Ni**as With Attitudes? Who ya'll fooling!/ Ya'll ni**as just phony/ I put that on my mama and my dead homies/ Yella boys on your team, so you're losing/ Ay yo Dre, stick to producing"

Hmm I see Kanye, Wayne and Eminem laying down verses...#DaFuck is all the noise for #MeekMill?

Track Reviews 7.14.15
@meekmill @drake - #RICO
Meek Mill's Dreams Worth More Than Money dropped a little ahead of schedule and with it came "R.I.C.O." Drake. I was kind of shocked when, "All Eyes On You" feat. Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown wasn't labeled the official single. The Nicki-Meek vibe would be perfect seeing that they just performed together on the BET awards. This is Drake's second feature of the week, he recently appeared on The Game's "100." "R.I.C.O." This is a different type of tempo for Meek Mill, but he rides the beat hard as he normally does.
Who had the better verse, Meek or Drizzy?
@iamdiddy @pharrell - #FinnaGetLoose
As Bad Boy Records turns 20, their material is as fresh as it was when Craig Mac dropped Mad Flava In Your Ear. This will be a club Banger for a long time! Real good, feel good track…This one will defiantly be a “clear the dance,” floor type track.
@therealbanner @bigkrit - #MyUZi
Dope Production is an understatement! If you put 2 of the souths most lyrical artists on a track like this…You get the sound that makes you want to roll one and ride out through the city…
@djself #MenaceCowwabang - #iGotTheJuice
DJ Self and Menace Cowwbang put together on of those, "Turnt Up" tracks with this one! If you have to get out that funk and get to the money, look no further. Self produced this himself. DJs are pumping out their own hits and this is one more to add to the list.
@djchose ft. #MCBeezy - #EverywhereIGo
Think It's A Game & Brook Gang Music has some HEAT with DJ Chose “Everywhere I Go” featuring MC Beezy. Not since the days of DJs such as Dr. Dre and Quik has the production pool been filled with mixmasters and beat droppers. The Breezy bars will keep you well aware of his street cred. Definitely a BANGER!
@chevywoods @dejloaf - #AllSaidAndDone
From the moment that you hear Dej Loaf lace this hook, you know its going to be another banger. Chevy Woods “30 Deep” single was only the introduction to what is now one of the hottest on the rise.
@migos - #PipeItUp
Sitting on the DJ conference call we all are in agreement that the Migos keep coming with the hits. Produced by Metro Boomin, “Pipe It Up" will have you on 'silent mode' if you ever questioned the Migos.
@ieshiameshyll @snoopdogg - #Jam
"Jam," is Summer Heat for the ladies and it's a club joint that'll have your VIP section on its feet. A very smart track for DJs to spin. Oh let's not forget, Snoop. He compliments Iesha’s cool flow.
@iamjmusiq - #CaliforniaDreamin
Produced by DFree, "California Dreamin" ain't your typical down south stripper track, it will have the ladies doing 'right-cheek-left-cheek' all night. With his West coast vibe JMusiq is sure to be one to look out for. Put n'Rotation and just watch that ass go!
@iamcalvin - #BeforeThisMomentLeaves
This is pure talent from an unrated artist. You will be moved, and not just on the dance floor. It's not often R&B breaks through the barriers, especially the soulful ballads. "Before This Moment Leaves" is that song. Be on the look out for more from this R&B crooner.
