I really love this...This being music. I still remember my Saturday morning cleaning soundtracks like it was yesterday. Hell, I still have the 80's hip-hop and my 90's crunk music in rotation today. So yep... this white girl loves some music! The past year has put me deep in the trenches of the entertainment and music biz, and I love this side of the industry even more. Well, I say that with the exception of some practices that have me wondering, "Who in the hell is managing the bridge between indie and mainstream?" I'm not going to bore you today or tomorrow, I'm just going to keep bringing heat period. If you really want to know the difference between the two sides, there is none. Unless we refer to the word budget, which is truly the defining difference. Hey, I just think the rules should have a lil correction here and there. Now, the fact that someone can download a recording program, then a heavily tagged soundclick beat, a mic (the best one under $100 ;-) ), Headphones (preferably 'Beats') that look good in your IG post, and a few of your boys to amen you, DON'T MAKE YOU NO ARTIST!
