It was January 18, 2015 and the "We Got Next Comedy Series" was in town. I have to admit this was my first Dallas comedy show and I will tell you...I laughed so damn hard! Mockingbird Station is home to one of the funniest venues in the city...Hyena's Comedy Nightclub.
When I first walked in I could hear the sounds of DJ Phreeze who had the crowd bobbing their heads till showtime. De'Shon's Celebrity Catering kept our stomachs full and our funny as hell host QGotJokes definitely had the laughs rolling from the time he took the stage and in between acts. These comedians were on point and surly impressed the crowd.
Q opened up with the introduction of the partners who put all of this together: Herschel Cooper, Quality Events DFW, De'Shon's Catering, DJ Phreeze, and the legendary DJ Spinderella. I was in store for a good show if these key players were involved. Now I'm not going to spoil any of the comedians jokes, but I will give you a bit of 411 on each of these gents and lady of comedy. 
Dez opened the show and he was more than a opener...he set the laugh bar very high.
Jaljuda had the jokes that centered around the truth! Her big revel was truly a "Drop The Mic" moment.

Keyon - this guy right here...can sing! That's not the joke, but when the crowd joins in...we all got a laugh.
Damone Jones introduced me to hood experiences that will be in my laugh box for years to come.
D Ellis A/K/A Mr. Entertainment headlined and his intro was complimented by DJ Phreeze spinning UGK's "Let Me See It!" He set Hyena's on fire. I'll take up too many lines giving you his bio but he does voiceover work on the Tom Joyner Morning Show. That's just the tip of his comedian iceberg.
